I use turnbuckles and quick release pins to attach the hoist to eye bolts underneath the bumper and on the lower legs.  This stabilizes the hoist.

I’ve attached an electric 12-volt 2000lb ATV winch at the top

I use a hook with a pulley and loop the cable through it.  I covered the 2x8’s with an old rear sprint car tire turned inside out.

Eye bolts mounted to the base of the hoist and turnbuckles help stabilize it.

This sprint car needed a lift after breaking the front axle at Canyon Raceway.  I helped put it onto their trailer.
