• The hoist weighs under 100lbs. 
• Mounts to a single receiver hitch
• 2x2 square tubing was used, shaped as an inverted “T”
• I used turnbuckles and eyebolts with quick release pins to stabilize it
• Rubber covered 2x8’s let the car slide easily
• A cam buckle strap is used to prevent the car from swinging
• Uses a 12-volt battery, which I place in the bed
• Simple and Sturdy construction
• Doesn’t hang out very far at all

I use turnbuckles and quick release pins to attach the hoist to eye bolts underneath the bumper and on the lower legs.  This stabilizes the hoist. 

I’ve attached an electric 12-volt 2000lb ATV winch at the top

I use a hook with a pulley and loop the cable through it.  I covered the 2x8’s with an old rear sprint car tire turned inside out.

Eye bolts mounted to the base of the hoist and turnbuckles help stabilize it.

I welded a brace vertically to strengthen the vertical beam

This dwarf car ran into another and needed a lift at Manzanita Speedway

This sprint car needed a lift after breaking the front axle at Canyon Raceway.  I helped put it onto their trailer.
